Drawing Marathon

This intensive drawing program runs for two weeks.  Open to all levels, this immersive drawing class will address the importance of drawing as a language integral to all visual art and as a way to understand one's experience in the world. Primarily, we will study the figure as a dynamic structure in space and mark making as a process of investigation. There will be some reading and writing as well as critiques. The Drawing Marathon will push artists to a new level of working.

Preparatory for studies or careers in

Visual arts, graphic arts, architecture, illustration, anatomy, teaching, art history; anything that would benefit from an ability to see and render three dimensional ideas onto a two dimensional plane.
