Printmaking: Materials

Exploring all areas of the Evergreen non-toxic printmaking studio, students will learn a variety of technical skills including relief, intaglio, serigraphy, and letterpress. Students will rotate through the printmaking studio, each assignment building upon accumulated knowledge. Proper paper handling and editioning practices will be stressed. Students will be exposed to the history and contemporary applications of all techniques through presentations and lectures. At the end of the session, students will present a technical printmaking portfolio, highlighting both concept and craft.
