Quantitative Research Design and Data Analysis

This course will focus on research design issues related to the social sciences including types of studies, sampling, data collection techniques, research ethics, and report writing. Additionally, the course will cover data analysis and presentation strategies including measures of central tendency and parametric testing (e.g., t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation).
This course is intended to complement the weekend program Health Inequity: Telling the Story and Changing It , but it can be taken as a stand-alone course.
