Student-Originated Studies: General Chemistry

This SOS is designed for motivated students to continue developing mastery of the concepts and skills typical in the final term of a year-long college level chemistry course. Themes for the course will be guided by student needs and interests, and will include selected topics in thermodynamics, kinetics, nuclear chemistry, and some introductory organic. The group will have mandatory twice-weekly meetings for discussion, group problem solving, workshops, and laboratory explorations.
