Surviving Middle Management

REVISED

Spring 2014 quarter

Taught by

People are often placed in leadership positions and then find that they are in unfamiliar territory with no roadmap for success and even struggling with the requirements of the new role.  Acting under the premise that we manage resources and lead people, this course is designed to expose students to the nuts and bolts approaches of both leadership and management.  We will discuss and study the management processes needed while developing leadership skills.  Course work will be designed around each student's individual needs.
