Angela Goldenstar received her Bachelor of Arts from The Evergreen State College in 1997. At Evergreen she focused primarily on experimental  animation and experimental film techniques, specifically optical printing. In 1997 she won the regional division of the 25th Annual Student Academy Awards for Experimental Film for her short film, The Room.

Professionally, she has been a web master and graphic designer for several small businesses and produced educational animated videos utilizing After Effects and Flash. She began working at Media Loan at The Evergreen State College in 2005 and is currently Head of Advanced Production Services as well as an Adjunct Faculty during the summers, teaching Experimental Animation Techniques.
