Physical Systems will cover Electromagnetism, Classical Mechanics, Differential
Equations, Modern Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Astrophysics, and Cosmology
at a junior level. Seminar is an integrated part of our learning. We will
do the Differential
Equations in conjunction with Don Middendorf's Math
Methods program. Here is the SPRING
DIFFEQ SYLLABUS.
Students enrolled in only the Seminar
Module will read half these texts - the nonmathematical half (though
you are certainly welcome to work with the hard stuff too!)
Students will do half-hour PRESENTATIONS
each Monday, in addition to RESEARCH planning and presentations.
