SpaceWeather
This site provides information about solar activity and the likelihood
of aurorae. (Many of the photos on my site were found in the
Aurora Galleries on SpaceWeather.com.)
Auroral
Activity Report
This is a really useful site that updates every 10 minutes. It shows
current positions of the polar auroral ovals and an image showing the
estimated visibility of auroral activity in the northern hemisphere.
Click on the image at the bottom of the page and see reports of aurora
sightings (if there have been any recently).
NOAA POES

This site is similar to to the one above. It also has animations of the
auroral ovals.

leader in auroral research. This is an informative intro site with a
little bit of everything.
Nordlys
A site from Norway (in english) with a great slideshow of almost 2,000
photos of the aurora. There is also plenty of information.
Stephen P. McGreevy's ground-based ELF-VLF
recordings
The aurora also produces radio waves (ELF - extremely low frequency;
VLF - very low frequency).
SOHO
The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory is a satellite that is gathering
information about the sun. You can view really excellent, current
images of the sun in various wavelengths on this site.
ISS: Where is it now?
You can actually see the International Space Station orbiting Earth.
Find out when it will be passing
over your location.
