1. Get the textbook

2. Read Chapters 1-4 and 6

3. Do the html examples in Chapter 2. Save
these files. Run the examples on http://www.prenhall.com/reed/

4. Play with other html files.  Start on your About Me website  http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_examples.asp

5. Email me with your new hotmail account (see Setup) at  abvechr@hotmail.com   I will add you to the class email list

6. Follow the WebX link on the home page. Register and play with preferences. Reply to About Me and What can computer do? Discussions. You can use the user name/password   StudentDemo/demo if your login does not work.

7. Try to get the FTP software installed (see Setup)

8. Get MSN Messenger 7.0. Try to IM me some time Tuesday evening from 6-10pm
