1. Review Chapter 5 and 12 if needed after our lecture

2. Play with the Data Representation link on: http://www.prenhall.com/reed/chapters.html Study carefully chapters 14 and 16 in your book. Play with the simulators for chapter 14 and 16 on this link.

3. Run the calcOutput code on the Calculations link for this session. Be able to predict the output. Change the code. Predict the output for your new code.

4. Write a JaveScript program to get the value of the purchase, amount collected, and tax rate and then give the change in dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies

5. Read through the online Normalization tutorials. Try to break down the Norm. Problem from the Normalization link into tables in 3rd Normal form. Come with a copy to turn in next time.

6. Start on your own database in Access.  Include at least 6 tables, with at least 1 indexed table (for a many to many relationship)

7. See if you can post your About Me website to your web space: Host: academic.evergreen.edu  

8. Make contributions to WebX.  Reply to other student entries

9. Update your contact IM list, or get it from me online, Tues from 6-10pm.  Form groups. Study together.  Help each other.

10.  Check the home page for the class daily.  That is where I will communicate with you.  Read again the HELP link on the home page.  Get the help you need.
