Our winter quarter liberal arts forum will address race and other factors as self-identity. The forum will focus specifically on the structure and elements of oppression in our society and on strategies to combat oppression. Our main speaker and facilitator for Wednesday evening's forum will be Dr. Leticia Nieto, a psychotherapist, dramatist and trainer who specializes in cross cultural communication, motivation and creativity. Our speaker and facilitator for Saturday morning's forum will be Anne Phillips, MA, an Evergreen graduate who consults in anti-oppression and cross cultural communication. Anne has been trained in Dr. Nieto's methods and model for strategic intervention for anti-oppression.
