Part Seven: Considering the Internet

I should probably make myself familiar with the tribes whose stories and folklore I am studying. This is a circumstance where the Internet is a good tool. Many tribes have websites, and these can be found by using a search engine to search for "(insert tribe name here) nation" as in "Makah Nation" or "Lummi Nation." Usually the first site that comes up is the site for the tribe you're looking for, and will tell you a bit about who they are. I can also check The US Deparment of the Interior website, to find the Bureau of Indian Affairs. This led me to a site that lists many Tribal web sites all in one place.
