I gathered the root, chopped it, soaked it for two days, and dyed cotton fabric and maguey fibers (from Mexico) in exploring native plant dyes. 2

gardening with the rains-Jennifer, Stacey, and I tended beds during a powerfully wet Friday morning. I focused on plants surrounding the willow tree in the dye bed, carefully cutting back plant people, with particular consideration as I could not positively identify most of them
