Watching the kids create a lion was amazing. I can cut out all of the same pieces of material, but each lion looks so different by the way the place the eyes or where they put the mouth. If the mouth even makes it on the project. |

Today I noticed that the kids are grasping the letters. On Monday the are telling me the letter from last week and have to look up at the board to pick a word, but by friday they are telling me words that are not up there or have not been discussed! |

Over the past week the kids have been really improving on their writting. Today most of the kids could write the letter N all on their own. |

The kids seem to have gotten over the letter O because they are really into P. They loved making the Pigs. We named each one and stuck it on the wall. They thought of such funny names for the pigs. Gavin named his Chucky and it really did look like a Chucky. I laugh every time I look at it. |

I Have been really impressed with the kids show and tells. They are very creative when it comes to Fridays. They come up with stuff that I would never think of. And most of the time we have not discussed it in class. |

This week was Transportation week. The Kids really enjoyed playing in the dirt and bringing their cars. Some Brought airplanes and trains. We drew pictures of what they would like to come to school in. Some of them drew animals some drew spaceships. Kids have such wonderful imaginations. |
