there are two notable ways a review process can help a project coordinator.

First, on especially long projects instituting a review process every month (or more often if deemed if necessary) will help keep people up to date on how well they are performing and allow them to make minor (or major) corrections to their efforts as team members.

Second, having a general review process at the end of a project will help all those involved become better a working as a team and as individuals. It is invaluable to give some time at the end of a project to discuss how it went and how it could have been done better.

[edit] Solution

(other larger solutions should go here)

if you are working alone reviewing your own work becomes more challenging. however it is still a good idea, nothing can replace the need to reflect on how well you did. even if all you do is sit down and make a list of what went wrong and how you handled yourself you will be much more likely to develop valuable new skills then if you do not reflect on your work.
