As for the readings for the first week I appreciate that the installation art book stated that installation art in galleries and museum displays are hard and often difficult to tell apart by there designs because I have personally struggled to tell the difference between an installation in a gallery art then from a portion of a same design in a museum display. Many artist have argued that installations are complete opposites of displays because of how there are situated and that if an artist complies it together it’s an installation in comparison of an employee from the museum putting the art together for viewing.
Question for seminar,
Does it truly matter if installation art is placed in a gallery or a museum?
