Ivan Illich had a great impact on my understanding and frames of health and health care. I have worked in health and health care arenas since the '70s and as my appreciation of its complexity has grown - I remain committed to cocreating a system of care that provides basic health care and access to all.
It is important that we seek to understand not only comparative administration but comparative health. I look forward to our exploration.
