Study Abroad: Donegal

 

The Study Abroad component of this program takes place in spring quarter of 2007. We will be spending five or six weeks in the village of Gleann Cholm Cille in Southwest Donegal. Language classes will be held every morning, and afternoons and evenings will be spent studying topics like the bodhrán (Irish frame drum), sean-nós (old style) singing, traditional dancing, weaving, natural history, politics, spirituality, poetry, etc.
