They will help you learn about language, the study of language (linguistics), particular languages, people who are important to know about, and linguistic concepts you should know about. Have fun with them, but don't stop there. Keep looking for interesting stuff on the web, and bring it back to the blog. Have a conversation about it, even before we get to the classroom.
