Winter Quarter
Current and new students in Visualizing Ecology: The document below contains a tentative syllabus for winter quarter. (It is the same syllabus that we handed out in class.)
You can find a more detailed schedule for Week 1 under "News" once you login to the site. This schedule also contains two required readings that you can download. There are no commentaries or replies due for Week 1.
We will hand out a final syllabus for winter quarter at our first class meeting on Tuesday, January 9, in Sem 2, D1105.
If you would like to join the program, you must obtain a faculty signature to register. Contact one of the faculty through e-mail to obtain the signature.

Note on commentaries and replies for A Trail through Leaves
Dear Visual Ecology Students,
As many of you have noticed, the forum for A Trail through Leaves was not working correctly earlier today. I made a mistake when I set it up, but it should be working now. Please post your commentaries again when you have a chance.
Note that some students have posted their commentaries and replies in the forum under "Week 1 Test" or "Last Child in the Woods"--so look around to find everyone's contribution.
Thanks for your (I hope!) patience. Best, Kevin
First Meeting
The first meeting of our program will be Tuesday, Sept. 26, in D1105. See you then!
Welcome
August 21, 2006
Dear Visualizing Ecology Students,
We hope that your summer is going well and that this letter catches up with you. We are sending this letter to give you a more detailed idea of what to expect in our program next year and to provide a list of the student fees, books, and art supplies that you will need for our program. Books can be purchased from the Evergreen Bookstore or on-line. You may already have received this information in an e-mail sent on August 24.
