Over break I as well as my co-writers, have moved into a new direction for the movie, pursuing a romantic comedy. We do not yet have a script written, but are in the process of outlining the plot and finishing the script which we still plan to have ready for rehearsing and shooting in week 4.

[edit] Work In Progress: Spam Musubi

Spam Musubi is a series of short scenes tied together to tell a complete tale about three friends dealing with the quirks, oddities, and complications of dating. In the movie the three men will analyze and discuss love from three different perspectives: A man looking for love and failing, A man in a stale relationship that is ending, and finally A man who is completely inexperienced in dating/love who gets blindsided by a new woman who comes into his life.

Plot progression and Screenplay COMING SOON!

[edit] What I am trying to address in this movie...

Sometimes cliche is good. Cliche's are cliche because they've forged a place in society. They are the staple, the acceptable, the sure thing. It's the things we're really attached to, that never disappoints, because society turns to cliche when the mysterious and unexpected harms us.

You can’t pursue love. You can’t practice it and you can’t force it to be present if it has already disappeared, or was never really there. Love finds you. All you can do is be happy and confident in your own life; willing and open once love does arrive.
