Another effect of anonymity on the community is Cyber-bullying. This usually happens when someone expresses a view or participates in an on-line activity and they get hostile behavior for it for it. The abuse can range from inflammatory comments to death threats. With anonymity the attacks are harder to trace and without it there will be more of a deterrence. However Cyber-bulling will still occur even without the aid of anonymity.
