This is a survey that demonstrates social trends that was conducted for two plus decades (1972-1994). It showed that men and women all across the educational spectrum witnessed an unpredednented diminished participation in social activities during this period. This included a growing mistrust of authority/politicians, as well as dwindling involvement in public organizations from labor unions right on down to the PTA.
