Vinh Response

Media streaming has replaced a percentage of television consumption. Youtube is one of the best way to get your messages out the to the public. Not only you can record your message on video and put it online but you could also share it on almost any social networking, blogging, or forum sites for people to view.

Jacob Pogreba Response

I feel our society has been speeding up in many different ways. Before we had telephones and radios information was very slow moving. With Americans spreading westward information was passed slowly. Now it seems that whenever a major event happens we tend to find out instantaneously with cable news, cell phones, and the internet. We can connect to anyone at anytime. One of the problems with instant media is the source which it comes. So how can people make sure that what they are reading, watching, or discussing is the truth? As we speed up we also must slow down to make sure all the facts are correct to avoid any errors.

On the topic of sources of news, there has been a debate on whether or not blogs or mainstream media are better providers of news. With mainstream media like CNN, Fox, etc. do provide up to date news, however sometimes under the guise of political bias, withholding information and ratings madness. On the other hand bloggers are sometimes are in the vicinity or have their own reporters for news. The downside is that they aren't as popular as mainstream media and news readers sometimes question the accuracy/professionalism of the articles.

Jerome's Response

The use of Facebook, blogger, Twitter and even creating your own website is an effective tool for getting your message out to the masses. In 2010, the Tea Party movement used Facebook, Blogger and independent websites in order to generate interest, which did prove to be successful.
