Jerome's Response

The government should not be able to control or restrict the internet. The people of Egypt used the internet to rally against their country's leader to remove him from power, which goes to show the power of the internet. We have seen rallies put together from political groups using facebook and other forms of media here is the U.S. Could the same happen here if enough people did the same? I think not, at least not in the foreseeable future.

Safeek's Response

Jerome I totally agree with you,I don't believe that here in the United States of America we can get the same kind of response like Egypt did. All it took was 2 young men to voice their opinion on facebook and asking people to join in on a protest to rid their country from that selfish president that they have, man, little did they know millions would turn out, and with success. No way do I see this happening in our country. I hope that I will live to see such courage in numbers protesting in our country for what they believe in. I will be there you can count on it. Does any one think just because we have the internet today we can see this kind of result in the U.S?
