Following an in-depth critical essay about Carol Burnett’s effect on the television industry, Cait Richards was given the opportunity to structure a blog around her studies — this is the end result of that assignment.
In this site, Cait wishes to emphasize that Carol’s history played a part in her success, in addition to aspects of Carol’s comic technique that made her great, as well as using clips to display the humor of the time as told by Carol herself.
Cait Richards is a junior at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. She aims to graduate in Spring of 2012 with a BA in Media Production.
