glossary
contemplative study — a style of sustained academic inquiry and deep learning that practices the three pillars of quiet and thoughtful reflection: relaxation of body, centering of mind, and clarification of speech and ideas
skills practicum — in-class and on-line instruction and practice with college learning skills, including contemplative study habits, peer-review article research, english rhetoric and grammar, etc.
writing practice — in-class, informal writing done the old school way – with paper and pen – to help summarize, organize, and retain ideas and insights from the day’s discussions
