Quiz 1 Revision info
- from the Syllabus: “If you are concerned about your performance on a Quiz, you can submit a Quiz Revision which will serve as the basis for a discussion between you and your faculty. Quiz Revision and Discussion occurs at noon following the Math Lab the week after the Quiz is returned to the class (e.g. the Quiz given on Week 2 Monday is returned Week 2 Wednesday. The Quiz Revision and Discussion then occurs at noon following the Week 3 Math Lab).”
- The expectations for the quality of Quiz Revision solutions are higher than for the original quiz, since you have had a chance to take the first draft (the original quiz), had a peer review session (during Wednesday Workshop), have access to many resources (including this week’s Solutions Postings which cover many of the Quiz questions) and have much more time to complete this final draft version. You should revise every question on the Quiz.
- For this week’s Quiz (on the Week 1 material), you will re-submit the original Quiz, which you can find linked at the Week 2 Calendar page for Tuesday (future revisions may have special versions).
- This week’s Quiz Revision Discussion will occur in the CAL lounge starting at noon. You should come to the Revision Discussion with the Quiz Revision already completed and in hand. Bring your original Quiz with you as well.
