1 b) What is the general form (equation) for an exponential function?
2 a) What does compounding interest mean (as opposed to simple interest)?
2 b) What is the difference between APR (Annual Percentage Rate) and APY (Annual Percentage Yield)?

Reflections
What would you like us to spend class time on from the precalculus readings?
What would you like us to spend class time on from the physics readings?
What material from the past week (or before) are you still having difficulty with? (Please do let us know, but also try to take advantage of all your resources: QuaSR, study groups, appointments with faculty, on-line tutorials & videos, etc.)
Prompt 1: Give specific examples which detail how you have articulated and assumed responsibility for your own work (Expectation #1).
Prompt 2: Give specific examples which detail how you have participated collaboratively in our divers society (Expectation #2).
Prompt 3: Give specific examples which detail how you have communicated creatively and effectively (Expectation #3).
Prompt 4: Please share any insights you gained during your small group discussion of the other Expectations: 4) Demonstrate integrative, independent, critical thinking; 5) Apply qualitative, quantitative and creative modes of inquiry appropriately to practical and theoretical problems across disciplines; 6) Demonstrate breadth and synthesis of learning and the ability to reflect on the personal and social significance of that learning.
