Education / Teaching

Master of Education (MEd)

Application and acceptance to the program is required. The M.Ed. is offered to currently certified teachers and to applicants who do not seek to become certified to teach in the K-12 public school system but who desire a master's degree with a concentration in math education or education for English language learners. These courses are taken in sequence starting in summer of the first year of a two year cohort. Master of Education (MEd) courses for 2010-11 and 2011-12 make up one cohort.

Master in Teaching (MiT)

Application and acceptance to the program is required. The MiT is offered to applicants wanting to become certified teachers. These courses are taken in sequence.

Endorsements

These classes provide practical coursework for teachers, para-educators and others in the areas of Reading, Special Education, Math and ELL.
