This course will provide tools and a framework for designing instruction for intermediate and secondary students who have gaps in their understanding of mathematics. Participants will examine the emotional barriers to mathematic achievement, develop efficient methods for assessing students' needs, and work collaboratively to build their own understanding of student conceptions and misconceptions. Some materials provided.
