Alexander Butler - Chair

Alexander

Alexander Butler is a junior at The Evergreen State College studying history. He is currently working his second year as a Resident Assistant in freshman housing and is heavily involved in the community here at Evergreen. He is a representative on the Gʷídəq Student Union, as well as a member on the Geoducks@Nite committee, and the Bias Incident Response Team. While on the Gʷídəq Student Union he was able to procure funding for changing bathrooms from gendered to all-gendered, as well as add more hydration stations to campus, and start a concert series titled Greener Days. His interests include hiking, running long distance, and traveling.

Stephen D’Annibale – Project Director

Stephen D’Annibale is a California native who received a bachelor degree in Geography from San Diego State University and is currently striving to obtain his masters degree in the Graduate Program for the Environment at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. He has worked for a number of agencies in various parts of the country in the natural resource management field. When he is not busy studying, he spends his time playing music and spending time outdoors.

Michael Joseph - Outreach Coordinator

Michael Joseph is a senior at The Evergreen State College who is studying Urban Planning.  He has been a Resident Assistant for two years, and connected to the campus for the past three years.  He has worked on various campus projects, from sitting in on RAD Master Planning Committee sessions, to drafting designs for a potential picnic shelter at the Organic Farm, and furthering an ongoing design for a solar-thermal pool heating system.  He also co-leads the club “Students for Sustainable Urban Design” or SSUD, where he enjoys discussing cities and emerging technology/design.  While growing up in Portland, he did some volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and other groups.  In his spare time, he enjoys attending lectures and fun events on campus, biking, swimming, reading science fiction, and playing board games with friends.

Vanlyn Turner-Ramsay - Secretary/Treasurer

Vanlyn

Vanlyn Turner-Ramsay is a junior at The Evergreen State College studying History and Philosophy.  Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Vanlyn was involved in organizing within the community and labor unions there.  At Evergreen, Vanlyn continues to follow her passion for being involved by lending her hands to the environmental justice movements active in the Pacific Northwest, while also remaining committed to Social Justice. #BlackLivesMatter

Erin Sherrer - Information Desk Manager

Erin Sherrer is a sophomore studying Environmental Science at The Evergreen State College. She is from Spokane, Washington and loves the Pacific Northwest. She spent the past summer working in Yellowstone National Park, and enjoys all things outdoors.
