Working in the Garden
Purpose:
The students will have the opportunity to plan for the creation of a memorial garden and to build it.
Where:
Evergreen Elementary(dual language instruction school), Shelton WA. The garden is located in the west side of the playground.
Who:
Aldo del Bosque (Educational Assistant) and a four and fifth grade class.
Why:
This garden is been build to complement a tree planted in memoire of a student who was killed in a car accident last year.
Results:
Students and volunteers will benefit from this experience of community service, group working, environment learning, appreciation for others etc.
