It was a nice experience to meet with
students and teachers to do some planning for the Lunar New Year. We
discuss advertisement and the possibility to have sponsors. I have been
posting poster in the Shelton area for the Lunar New year. |

I had the opportunity to assist my classmates
in the Computer Center on their web sites. I know little about Dreamweaver
and Photo Shop programs; Hirsh asked me to volunteer. I like to learn
about web design so I was happy to assist. |

Today I meet with Mrs. Pegg (the teacher
of the classroom that I'm volunteering), we schedule the times for me
to come to volunteer. I start a garden project with this class last
quarter and I determent to finish it this quarter. If you want to no

After class Hirsh, Tom and some members
of the painted word meet to talk about the editing of images for the
Painted Word Site. I had some training on editing images on Photo
Shop. |

Today I was able to talk to the class
and refresh their mine about our garden project, there were very excited
to continue. I grade math papers for Mr. Pegg. |

On my free time I made about 22 Journals
for Mrs. Pegg's class, I gave these journal to the students. I told
them to draw or write on their journals, I also showed them my nature
journal. The students were inspired from my drawings in my journal. |

I did volunteer at the Evergreen Elementary
school, for in activities for parents after school. I was a part of
a panel for involving parents more in their child's school and how to
help students at home. |

Today was fabulous, I like the smell
of fresh air in the morning, specially by the Longhouse garden . I got
early to campus and took couple of minutes to contemplate the garden
in the longhouse, I can still listing to the water stream and smelling
the natural atmosphere. I knew that it was going to be a go day. The
celebration was great. Inspired me to look deep on to my self and family
to follow in example of the performers to dedicated time to culture
and folk thinking. |

I been working in this garden project
since last quater. This is a memorial garden, for a Evergreen Elementary
student who died last yer in a car accident. This Saturday I had the
opportunity to work the ground for cultivation. |

Brother's home |
Today I had the opportunity to build
a flower bed and a bench with the help of my brother. We build these
things of donated materials. After we build the main parts of the bed
and bench we finish the assemblage at Evergreen Elementary. It feels
good the progress in these project and I can way to be finish. This
is a special garden because is a memorial garden. |
