Arts, Environment and the Child: Walking the Wheel of the Seasons

Elizabeth Myers

My favorite season of the year is Fall. I adore my life and my education here at Evergreen. I feel honored to be in this program and look forward to working with all the wonderful people that will cross my path and maybe walk with me for a few heartbeats.

I have studied the environmental sciences in the past and even have an ATA in Forestry. I have thouroughly enjoyed the study of trees (Dendrology) and also the study of plants (Botany). I am getting an intensly wonderful premonition about the extensive possibilities ready to burst forth within this program.

I am particularly interested in becoming involved in the child part of this program as it is an area I have little experience. I possess a keen interest in our future generations and how I can be of service to the innocent of the world. Ultimately, I believe, untill we begin to care for and love the children of the world it will not be possible for peace. Abused children grow into confused and sometimes angry, adults.
