2-28-06 Drops of Water
- Discussion of what a drop of water is and how powerful it can be as a single drop or cumulative
- Drop of water experiments
- Toothpicks and single drop of water to form a star
- Eye dropper and ½ tsp how many drops to fill
- Eye dropper and penny or dime how many drops will it hold
- Each child to prepare a watercolor using single drops of paint and then blow them around on the paper in patterns with a straw much like the wind might.

- Seeds to be planted in clear plastic cups with the dirt and water carefully measured.
- Black slip made for the cup
- Journal made to record changes in what happens above the ground and also below.
- Ruler made to measure the changes in the growing plant and the roots when the black slip is removed.
- Measuring cup used to measure the water given to the plant throughout the week.
