NativeWeb.org review.
There is a wealth of information and links on this site.
On the homepage there's a "news" segment front and center. A link to the "Native Wiki" and a handy 'site index'.
Unfortunately, there are some distracting and annoying advertisements. And they blend in with the content too well to ignore outright.
The content itself is very general. Offering small sub pages on seemingly all topics related to Natives.
Essentially the site serves as "one stop shopping" for info and links pertaining to Natives.
Through these links, it succeeds. Taking the user from the general to the more detailed/focused.
On the main pages there isn't much in the way of interaction... but again, this is a clearinghouse of info. Tho' they do have a blog section, it seems little used.
It's too bad that the entire site was obviously made with a very basic web page creation program. The layout and color scheme are bland and dated, and somewhat cluttered.
Still, I found it useful.
