Use this checklist to make sure you are caught up on your assignments in time for midterm conferences. Use it also to standardize your formatting and contents for the wiki's information architecture and its look and feel.

[edit] Wiki Assignments

[edit] Personal/user

  • Include some version of your name in all the personal/user pages you create
  • Create a personal/user category and tag everything you make with it
  • Professional resume - tag with your topic category, personal/user category, Contributors tag
  • Create a seminar papers page - tag with Program Syllabus category, personal/user category
    • Add your seminar papers to that single page

[edit] Research Project

  • Include your research topic in all of your topic related page names
  • Tag all your topic pages (and your resume) with your topic category
  • Complete the description of your topic on your group page
  • Topic Page
    • Describe the project so far, including answers to Tilly’s questions
  • Organizations Online page – at least 2 complete website reviews (Week 2)
  • Annotated Bibliography page – at least 8 annotated sources
  • Gallery page – at least a couple of images

  • Reading notes about Cyberactivism
  • Discussion of a couple of news articles related to your topic
  • Post your seminar papers
  • Comment meaningfully on five of your colleague’s blog posts
  • Discussion of "GNU", "free software", "copyleft", and "open source"

  • Gilmore, We The Media

  • Ostertag, People's Movements, People's Press
