Knowing Nature

2007 - 08

My name is Therese Saliba and I will be your Core Connector, or Academic Advisor, for your program, “Knowing Nature.” I will be attending your program regularly to orient you to the college and community, and I hope to see you at least one time during Fall quarter one-on-one to check in on your transition to Evergreen. I am also available this Summer and throughout the 2007-08 academic year to assist you with a range of issues that may emerge in your first year at Evergreen—from study and time management techniques to planning your future studies. My role is to work collaboratively with you and your program to promote your academic success and your integration into the Evergreen learning community. I am also Faculty of International Feminism, Middle East Studies, and Literature at Evergreen, with some previous studies in the Classics and Philosophy, fields central to your program. If you have an interest in any of these areas, or need assistance on your summer assignment, I would be glad to meet with you. Please feel free to contact me at the email address or phone number below, or call 360-867-6312 to schedule an appointment with me. I look forward to working with you this year! Also, for more information about Academic Advising, check out our website at www.evergreen.edu/advising.
