Note from Kathleen: Hi, all:  I want to say once again how grateful I am to all of you for reading this.   And in spite of my continual admonitions to students not to preface all of their work with apologies, I want to say that I have not had the chance to revise or even edit the third section contained in this chapter; if you notice things that seem entirely unconnected to what came before, or places where I claim to argue something of which you have no memory, I would love it if you would point these out to me.  Otherwise, I can use any help you can offer, and I'm really pleased to share this with you (if also slightly shy about it).  Enjoy having the tables turned for once!  Best, Kathleen

(P.S.  I haven't yet put in my footnotes for secondary sources, and many page numbers are missing -- that is the meaning of the xxx you see whenever I write "cite xxx"... I will supply these, and an extensive bibliography, in the final version and am happy to share that without whomever is interested.)

    Wednesday, April 16

Group B DRs - post your critiques by 5 pm as responses to the posted essay to which you have dedicated your time, thought, and respect.

Tuesday Paper #1 is your "ticket of admission" to seminar, where we will be discussing all of Kant's Groundwork... Include Korsgaard's introduction in your reading.

TPs are a page or so in length and are to raise important questions from one's reading, cite text that motivates each question, and offer commentary about a question in relation to the text. The test of success will be how useful the writing turns out to be in seminar.

    Week 1:

    Tuesday, April 1

In Lectio (10 am, LH 3), we will make sure the satellites are organized and review what lies ahead for the quarter.

(Next week we will read Section III and Korsgaard's Introduction.) Review the work we did on Kant last quarter. Bring questions on specific passages to seminar.
