Mediaworks

Mediaworks has Com 209 and 110 from 9am to 6pm, and the Experimental Theater 9:30-5:00pm.

If your installation requires more than one hour for set up, please arrive earlier than 9:30, or set up Thursday night for Com 209 and 110 only.

Due to a performance at the ET, we cannot set up Thursday night there.  So, please either come earlier if you think you need more than one hour to set up.

Please let us know if you have obtained permission to use any other area/location on campus.

Come prepared with a brief description of your work (or Artist Statement), Title, and the names of the students/participants in your group.

Make sure you have all of the media equipment you'll need by Friday including projectors, video decks, DVD players, lighting, speakers, etc.

Schedule for Friday:
Everyone meets at the ET 9:30am

Setting up from 10:00 to 11:00am (You may want to document your installation, you may want to check out a digital camera from Media Loan)

11:00-12:30 Critique of first three installations (we’ll spend 30 min. for each installation, this includes the time to move from one installation to the next, talking, and writing a formal critique).

12:30-1:00 Dismantle your installation

12:30-2:30 Lunch (except for those setting up or dismantling installations)

1:30-2:30 Set up second round of installations

2:30-4:00 Critique of second round of installations

4:00-4:30 Dismantle installations
