Well,

Here we are three quarters of the way through the program. I’m very pleased with how we have moved from examining how humans inherently notice the bad first (and then often focus on it) and our societal obsession with “self,” to the social science foundations and practice of life satisfaction.

I am continuing to savor the weekend we spent together, applying the concepts and activities on the field trip, as well as our first deliberate (and often hilarious) run through the play. I hope you will take enough time to practice your parts so we can give it our best the final weekend.

"We have a finite amount of time. Whether short or long, it doesn't matter. Life is to be lived."
This video is about Randy Pausch a professor at Carnegie Mellon who has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and was told in August 2007 to expect a remaining three to six months of good health.

Pausch delivered his "Last Lecture", to his students entitled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams", at Carnegie Mellon on September 18, 2007. Randy's last lecture has become such a hit, his video has been viewed over 6 million times.
