My R&B band, Func Pro Tunc, will play one of its rare gigs on Friday October 23rd in Seattle. The event will be held at the Nordic Heritage Museum. It’s a benefit for the Youth Development Fund, a non-profit organization that disseminates money to at-risk youth throughout the Seattle/King County area. They are a a volunteer oranization that gives money to individual youth, groups or special projects. The money goes to youth that have no means of raising the money on their own and can include funds for school books, bus passes, eyeglasses or tuition.
The event will be held on Friday, October 23rd starting at 6:30 pm until 11:00. There will be an extravagant sea food spread for dinner along with a variety of salads and desserts. There will also be beer, wine and soft drinks as well as a silent auction. Func Pro Tunc will be supplying dance music throughout the evening. Tickets for all this are $25 for individuals and $45 per couple.
