Objective interest group
From Internet: Knowledge and Community
An objective interest group refers to a group whose members are, "beneficially or adversely affected by the same things," (33). Groups defined by political identities such as the LGBT community are an example of objective interest groups because national and state policy concerning LGBT legislation will affect all the members equally. Objective interest groups along with a subjective interest group and what Graham calls a "defining authority" are what constitute a community in the true sense.
