Ben Kamen teaches electronic and experimental music at Evergreen. Previous courses include Experimental Music, Introduction to Electronic Music, Numbers, Hybrid Music, and Interactive Sound and Video. Ben specializes in creative coding using Max/MSP/Jitter, Processing, and the Arduino platform. He also is currently developing an iPad based musical instrument.
Naima Lowe teaches Experimental Media at Evergreen, with an emphasis on video art, experimental documentary, performance art, installation, early film history, media theory, feminist film and African-American film/art history.
