Occupy marine environments in water column above 200 m depth year round.
Defining Characteristics:
<2.00 mm; Posterior corners of prosome not angular or produced; 1st antennae as long or longer than body.
Life History and Reproduction:
C. pacificus undergoes six naupliar, then five copepodite stages.
