Winter Assignments, Week Eight
You have three assignments this week, plus the continued preparation of your final assignment (see below).
The first assignment is for you to choose a fairy tale; some examples are given below but you can choose your own. This has to be a written tale, not a Hollywood version. The Brothers Grimm and Hans Andersen have many fairy tales. Read the one you have selected and write a short essay on what the story is attempting to relay about human behaviour, etc. The length of the paper can be half a page but not more than two pages in length, single spaced.

Have fun! Your essay is due on Thursday the 28th of February
The second assignment is to read the book I Never Promised you a Rose Garden. A pre-seminar paper is due Monday the 25th on this book. The seminar focus will be to discuss the book and your pre-seminar paper.
The third assignment is to read Woman at Point Zero. A pre-seminar paper will be due on this book Thursday the 28th of February in seminar. The book and your pre-seminar paper will be the focus for this seminar.
For the final project: Finish writing your paper of at least 1200 words. Have your two peers review it (and sign their names to your draft). Include your word count on the first page with your name and date of that draft. Don’t count your bibliography in the word count.
