Winter Assignments, Week Five
Monday: 11 a.m. See the handout on your “Expository Paper and Presentation” to know what is due at lecture.
Monday: Bring two copies of your pre-seminar paper to seminar. Read through page 121 of Biology of Belief.
Tuesday: Decide which topic from the Biology of Belief text that you will present to your seminar group for 5 minutes on Thursday. You may also choose to present something from the lectures, or from one of the references in Lipton’s book, or from the Scientific American Mind article. Prepare your presentation and practice it alone.
Wednesday: Meet with your buddy to rehearse your short presentation for tomorrow.
Thursday: At 11 am: Give your seminar leader a full sheet of paper with your name and your choice of final project topic. Finish The Biology of Belief and give a short presentation in seminar. Tell us who you practiced with.
NOTE: Get copies of your 3 sources for the final project and read them several times. Get additional sources if you need them.
