Arts, Environment and the Child: Walking the Wheel of the Seasons

Kayty Harrison

I enjoy: fun times, travel, SUNSHINE, jogging on trails in the Pacific Northwest forests, oceans, my plant Eleanor, photography, mountains, being in bed wrapped in covers with the window open, painting, backpacking, my fabulous friends, rainy bus rides, dancing, soy milk, the San Juans, embarrassing my mother, poetry, puppies, re-connecting with old friends, reading, antique crap, yoga, hiking, the excitement of newly realized opportunties, writing, playing with animals and kiddies

I am a dreamer at heart. I have an IMMENSE drive to change the world and after graduating I will be joining the Peace Corps. Upon completion of my time spent there, I hope to take what I've learned and experienced and develop a career bringing about social change in foreign countries.

I am still struggling with the school thing, finding it difficult to get motivated and to be diligent about my school-work. I hope to remedy this problem through immersion in this class and concentration on the community work aspect. I am excited about the opportunities to grow here; I know it will do my mind, body and soul much good!
