ATTENTION STUDENTS IN MIKE’S GROUP: In addition to the above assignments, you are also expected to do a small amount of advanced reading in anticipation of the seminar in week seven on stem cell research. Please open this document prior to week 4 and be familiar with what is expected of you.

Week 7 Seminar:
Dharshi Bopegedera will do her seminar on Women Nobel Laureates. She will select 2 Women Nobel Laureates (their lives & their work) and provide your material to read. You are expected to read this material, engage in small group discussions with fellow students, generate questions for seminar, and then come to the large group seminar discussion. Reading material for this seminar is now available on our Masu share (Masu/Programs/INS/handouts/Seminar/Bopegedera Group). Print all three PDF files, read, and get ready for the seminar.

Mike Paros group will be exploring the bioethics and the interaction of public policy and stem cell research through a case study and simulated senate debate.
